Be warned ! 2009 End to End entries are to close as soon as we hit 1000 which is any time now as we have well over 900 !. So if you havn,t entred, do it a.s.a.p. or you,ll miss out on the biggest e2e ever  and tell all your friends.

From the webpage.
"At present there are 100 entries which are unpaid and therefore do not apear on the entrants list. It is intended that these will be deleted at the end of June so that other riders may have the opportunity to compete. "
Also, personally I think we should be letting the general public and tourism partners know how big this event is going to be. The parish walk has big bits in the paper all the way up to the event. Lets not be shy, lets tell people the Island has one of the biggest MTB events in the UK! Pretty sure it attracts a very high ratio from off Island which is what the tourism bosses would get excited about.

Its all in hand !. We had a meeting last night and are having banners, news paper and radio adds like the parish walks "walk the walk". Can you think of one for the end to end ?.

Excellent stuff.
Is there any way of finding out how many entries are from across so far? That would be a v useful statistic to have when bending the ear of your local politician... and right now - prior to the event.

Tourism did ask me and I passed the message on and they were updated but I never found out the figure. It would be a handy one to make public, I would have thought it must be one of the top 5 events as regards bringing people over from across?

apparently per Richard Cuthbert (from Steven Honeybone) nearly 500 off Island entries - and that covers the whole gammut from Kinesis and Nick Craig to mere mortals such as most mtbers...
